So... This is what happens when you run your rig without foams in icy weather when the air in the tires was initially room temperature... They get just a little squishier! =^^=
Given the size of the tires, and the softness of the rubber, I think this might have actually helped with her handling some of the snow, not sinking down as deep. I noticed that when she did bog down (Usually after running into an obstacle.) The tires would bury themselves to the top of the wheel wells. So there was some floatation effect happening! (Again this tickles me!)
I also like how the snow accumulated on the various surfaces of the model!
Despite the deflated tires, handling was still pretty good!
Another thing that impressed me was the runtime on the battery. Some 30 years ago I worked in a hobby shop (Egad, it has been that long?!? =^^; ) NiCad batteries were the thing and a fifteen minute run time was considered good. This battery ran the better part of an hour, and it was not even fully charged! Tech has changed over the decades!

A couple things i learned that day: One was the applied physics as shown above, and two: It is hard to drive with one hand while trying to film your car in the other! =^^=
(I may have got just enough footage for a Youtube short that almost keeps the subject centered! =^^; )
But it is a lot of fun! I'm looking forward to longer walks in the woods once spring hits!
