As you know, I only recently became aware of taurs (beyond classic horse centaurs). And the more I looked into them, the more I liked the idea of combining other types of creatures into a single taur body. However, I have set myself a few ground rules: Light clothes, maybe accessories (like a side bag or a scarf), no shoes (obviously). And I think pants are still not a thing for my design choice. I kinda like the "top-only look". It reminds me of the good ol' classic Disney days (Donald Duck or Chip and Dale for example). I can make my peace with shorts to some extent, just like yours. Yet… I think I'll stick with a pantless design for my taur in the end. But maybe you could advise me on the rest of the clothes/accessory items.

The upper body is more anthro like and it's definitely deserve to be dressed. The lower (taur) half is more animalistic so I don't think any clothes necessary :3
My sona Zaren also wears a green hoodie and just playing to wear other clothes can be fun ^^ But I would just stick the the anthro parts being dressed :)
