Welcome back to another Gun Day Sunday! So much to do and so little time. I have been busy the last week and it has not ceased. I honestly thought that I should postpone Gun Day Sunday again, but managed to muster out something. For this week's installment, my brother got a Bulgarian kit and is now in build mode checking the bore before installing it to the trunnion. it's a beautiful parts kit and I can already tell it's going to be a good looking rifle.

A clean barrel is a happy barrel.
I should know, because I decided to not listen to the SKS cleaning video I've been using and went on instinct, and hay look, it was like it was brand new. Seriously now I want to see if it's a little more accurate now, that plus I finally understand the Russian sights. Yeah you know the video was crap when you realize 'hmm... maybe I should have been able to see the rifling a little more distinctly' after just doing what felt natural. Oh well, that is the least of that's gun's problems.
Also, have no worries of postponing Gun Day Sunday, you can do it whenever you want. Don't make it feel like a job, we enjoy it only as much as you are able to.

That's the issue, the ammo used in the 80s was, only now the modern ammo isn't (or at least from what I know of the ones I get). So, at least now it's a lot easier.
Also no problem, just have fun with it, we love your work, and it gives me something to look forward too in the week, but there's no obligation to it at all.

Fair enough, though the brand I've been using (because I can afford it and also find it reliably) seems to be a Swedish based company that makes and reloads their own ammo. So I think I'm safe for now.
Now I do have a single clip of surplus ammo left, but... we'll just say there's a reason I haven't shot it. Maybe I'll get a picture of it.
