The dark wizard Adaria is nigh on completing her worldgate, a rift that will change reality into one of chaos and ingrown power where anyone can become strong. Bestel, Grennen, and Mera have come to stop her, but alas it is too late.
Thankfully, the rift is not quite as expected, as they go to a happier, more gentle fantasy world. And change along the way, because why keep your grimdark past when you can be cute and adorable?

I've always liked THIS piece by  Z_Teal, as a sort of "what if the villain accidentally made the world all cuddly" kind of thing. It seemed like a good cozy theme to get into the sense of "you can write in this new space, it's okay".

I am Seattle, and so can you! I am slowly unclenching, if back on the job search train. This time from a place of safety, where I don't have to fear for survival while I do so. A welcome change, to be sure.

Going to try and do more Perchance chapters, since there's only so many job applications I can do before my mind goes "aaaahhh WHY." Bounce back and forth between the creation and the subjugation, as one does.
Still need to do the mechanics half of the side chapter, but the next Perchance is a boss fight! Less tragic monster, more crazy person, but the magical violence will be glorious all the same.
I ponder a less clean version of this, where it shows the reality warp overtaking a fantasy town as it goes from grimdark to fluffy. That rainbow in the sky is getting closer! I hope it brought snacks.
