Inari is known to many as the harvest goddess of the Shinto religion. Japan's people have worshipped and given thanks to her for over two millenia, countless shrines have been established dedicated to her, and whole battles between rural communities have erupted in the past over the "correct" way to view and honour her, even over whether she's a woman at all. The people seem to be unaware, however, that their beloved goddess has been living among them... She resides within a seemingly normal girl, first-year highschool student Irina Rokukawa, who Inari deemed worthy to wield her power as a magical girl to fight the forces of evil! Irina, who goes by Inari's name in her transformed state, was reluctant at first, even finding it hard to believe that something like this was really happening to her, but she grew used to it before long and even came to enjoy it, defeating bad monsters on a regular basis, armed with her Fox Wand and a mystical den-den daiko she's named Tai-chan! Now, however, the ultimate test of her skills has unexpectedly shown up--recently, Inari has sensed something very off about the flow of the world's energies. Something big has arrived and is gaining power, and without the right actions taken, this something could mark humanity's end and be bad news for all nonhumans as well. With Inari's help, Irina began planning out how best to combat this foe and save countless innocent lives... Can Irina rise to the challenge and save the world, or will she find out just how much harder this job is than she expected?
