In one of the Aqua: Mermaid Princess of Atlantis chapters, Athena decided that she wants to take a day off and spend her time with her precious daughter for a week, while Ryujin watches over Atlantis a week.

Aqua was delighted to spend her time with her mother who asked her to use her Blimp Pearl to inflate themselves like balloons and going to travel around the world, even above the Grand Line and New World.

Two days later, they went to space, and they were amazed and fascinated and captivated by the vastness of the universe. And so they're traveling around in space to explore the universe with stars and planets, even the moon.

To them, Aqua and Athena thinks the universe is like kind of cosmic sea. And then Athena realizes that her dream comes true; she wishes to see beyond the skies and stars.

And she was grateful for her daughter and her Blimp Pearl's powers to fulfill her wish, and gives Aqua a motherly hug.

After her day off is over, she and Aqua returned to Atlantis.
