I feel like the show that inspired the title and idea behind this particular piece was seen by every child of the nineties--at least those with access to both a television and the Disney Channel.

Before Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Digimon Frontier (my all-time favorite version of the Digimon universe--), and a myriad of other shows and movies that mean a great deal to me to this day, Disney's Gargoyles heavily impacted my formative years. I do not know if I actually saw it when it aired as I would have been around 3 at the time or if I came across it through re-runs prior to '98, but whenever it may have been it was something I excitedly shared with both of my parents.

I have wanted to commission a piece depicting my parents critters and myself in a piece reminiscent of both the style and vibe of the show for as long as I can remember. Looking forward to having this printed on a couple shirts for mum and I so we can reminisce.
