This evening I created this little subspecies to the Lightdragons Leundra belongs to. :)
hese dragons are called Laneons. It's a subspecies of the Lightdragons, Leundra belongs to. They are much smaller and more agile than their relatives but not that intelligent and they don't become that old.
The Laneons lived seperated to the Lightdragons in a big tribe. But a dispute destroyed the peace of the tribe because some wanted to become more powerful and stronger like the Lightdragons and others liked their natural way of living. Most of the member left the clan and made their own way alone.
The plate on their breast as well as their eyes and the end of the tail are glowing. These are the only magic sources in their body.
If you're interested in adoptable of these look here:

I love the design and how well the colours work and pop out at you. I also really like and appreciate the amount of thought that went into creating your own history behind the character.
I like concepts but I love concepts that not only are a great design but have a history behind it, I just think it adds more depth to a piece.
Very well done indeed :).
