Here is a kind of slug that lives in cold environments, it prefers to stay in water but will come out to look for a new source of water they don’t have too many predators in some water thanks to a toxic that is in their body that’s doesn’t effect birds that prey upon them. If they know there are a lot of predators in the water they will move out to find new waters. If they are cut in half both sides can grow into a new slug. As long as there is snow, ice, or rain they are good to go on land.
