The end of January and the start of February have so far been kicking my ass, which is why my uploads have been sparse… so far, I'm trying to keep it at least two a week. Let's see how long that can last.

Either way, no creature today. Instead, we have a new OC.
His name is Briar.
He is what I like to call a Defender. In essence, it is a type of Fighter focused on tanking and dodging instead of dealing direct damage. His role is to draw away the attention of the enemies and give his teammates time to prepare their "big damage moves." That, and intercepting hits that would otherwise down "the squishies" in the back.

The general idea for Briar came to me after hearing a certain phrase in a Let's Play video.
What was that expression?

"Pure of heart, dumb of ass".
Briar is not the sharpest tool in the shed. However, he is good-natured and always willing to help those in need.
His martial abilities help him preserve both himself and his allies.
... just don't expect him to succeed in any puzzle-based challenges.

(at least now my OC collection is less of a clam bake...)
