This backstory is a bit dark, containing some dark elements and also death, so bear that in mind. If you want, you can skip down to the credits.
Mikana's early life was nothing too interesting to note. She had both her parents, and grew up with them happily before growling old enough where she had to roam and survive on her own. After a few years of wandering and surviving, her life took a turn.
She found a male Yuty at a rather young age and he seemed like a reliable mate, and they stuck by each other. After being together for several years, they had a single baby, a young girl. Mikana loved and cherished her daughter, but after a month or so, her mate....began to act strangely. He grew more distant and rather solitary, sometimes even pushing away his wife and child.
But then, one day, Mikana awoke and found her husband...gone. It didn't take her long to realize he hadn't been killed, but more heartbreaking. He had abandoned both her, and their child.
That fueled an anger in her heart, hating him for betraying the trust and love she had thought they had for each other. This anger never subsided, and started making her more irritable and less tolerant, but that never changed her love for her child.
Until.....she lost her. She only heard a distant squeal from her daughter one day upon finding their nest empty.
And, instinctively, Mikana followed it. In her travel however, she stumbled across her ex-mate. Angered at seeing him again, her rage took over and she killed him in a rather brutal manner. She found him asleep and, mercilessly, sat on his face and started to suffocate him with her fluff. His muffled roars of fear were tuned out by her, but in her furious state of mind, even that suffering wasn't enough for her. She added to his suffocation in a....rather horrendous way, by gassing him out on top of his ongoing suffocation.
Soon ended the life of one she thought was to be her forever mate. After that, she continued her search....only to find remnants of her daughter....in a Raptor's nest days later. More furious by that, she single-handedly killed the entire pack of 12. Once her husband had been killed and she got some form of closure about her daughter....she broke down and sobbed, realizing she'd lost everything but her own life.
Between her betraying husband and the death of her child, it changed Mikana forever. She was more sullen and solitary, showing minimal emotion, besides irritation or anger if something proved annoying to her, which did not take much.
She has no real friends, and has minimal intention to make any unless something....special about them makes her reconsider such.
Different gal I got, but I loved her design back when I saw her and I snagged her because nobody else seemed to want to.
A tough, and solitary Yuty girl who's got a relatively short fuse and will gladly kick ass if she has to. Little bit darker of a backstory for her compared to average, but I do like variety in my character roster xD.
