This is a sculpture I made for
mbala a few years ago and recently finished painting - it's his red river hog character.
The sculpture is about 9 inches long and 6 inches high - it is mostly epoxy clay over a metal armature with the finishing addition of horse hair and a bit of coyote fur.
I love sculpting and wish I got the chance to do more of it! :)

I love epoxy clay - its a bit finicky to learn, but I used polymer clay forever and this stuff is so much more durable and easy to work with, in my opinion. It's a different style of working, since you can't set it down, leave it, come back to it etc - but there's not the worry about baking, burning, and breaking either!
I've mainly used it as fine details on pieces i couldn't otherwise bake, such as this mainly papier mache piece http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5011479 .. The ears. eyes, hands and feet were made with epoxy clay, and that is about all the more extensively i'd want to use it XD
