Why hello there!

Long time no see, and it's great to have some stuff to upload for you all :D

Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday at the end of December and an amazing new start to 2025 with January having just wrapped up a few days ago. Sure last year was tough for many of us and tbh way back when I thought I would have been in a very much different place/position by now but circumstances change and life is funny with it's sudden waves of "nah" that hit you when you got plans and things you want to do, or rather would like to do haha. I'm really excited for this year, and have a good plan to get started finally in my new career (job apps are tough!) and hopefully in time get a place of my own as well! I've recently done a lot of introspection and ehh... soul searching I guess and even went away for a few months. I've since gotten back 3 weeks ago and now that I've settled in (besides a few car hiccups that I need to fix, ughhh) I'm getting back into el routine.

Specifically with my work that I'm getting into, I've been doing web development da front and da back :D My big personal project has been essentially my own art website, with users able to make accounts and upload art and such. I don't want to reveal the main niche/purpose yet as it's a surprise (surprisingly it's not furry related lmao), and as of right now I'm about 45-50% done? I haven't written any tests for either end, and I'm constantly trying to refine the UI/UX and code itself. Though I've been extremely aware with how I organize file structures and the server pattern that I am using (Three Tier Architecture ftw), so it's helped me immensely with fixing bugs and understanding what exactly my code is doing lol. It's my first "real" large project and doing it all solo is tough but survivable. And it will look good on la resume XD

Besides programming and pushing to Git repos, of course I've been drawing!

You best believe an anthro doggo like Reede wouldn't shy away from the idea of just being a dog, and not just a dog with human responsibilities. Shrugging off useless and boring stuff like work, bills, errands, making your own food, buying stuff for the house, etc! Imagine if you could just cuddle up in a giant dog bed, have a big box of large treat biscuits to munch on, a giant bag of food with all the nutrients and calories you need condensed into something that looks like cocoa puffs but smells like a crock pot roast gone bad, eating out of a simple metal bowl that has your name on it (how cool!), and of course a rad collar with a metal tag that jangles around anytime you move your head which also has your name on it XD

Anytime you need anything, you get it "suddenly". Like when your thirsty, the bowl is filled with water, hungry full of food, your bed gets washed for ya, and then if you every want attention suddenly you get petted everywhere! Almost as if there was this concept where you were taken care of by this mysterious individual who also walks on 2 legs but isn't covered in fur and disappears for 8 hours of the day while also looking at something called a "phone" instead of petting you XD

Reede would for sure be one of those canines who would have this sort of setup he could pull out of his closet and just be a doggo, maybe if you were invited into his home beforehand you could also cuddle up with him and pet him till your hears content and take nap while you snuggle up to his fuzzy body <3 It would be quite an experience! Just make sure you clear out your plans for that night, because he's gonna need your entire focus on petting him, hanging out with him, and giving him treats when he barks on command haha.

Though imagine the whiplash it would be for when the next day comes and he just reverts into his usual demeanor, wearing clothes and sitting at the table eating cereal while watching YouTube videos lol. Sit next to the big dog and spoon feed him the cereal while using your other hand to pet his neck floof, and watch that tail wag :D

I think it's a cute contrast to have a furry critter act as their base feral counterpart, especially dogs. Personally I would not be opposed to buying a giant sized dog bed and sleeping in it daily, dude regular ones are super comfy anyways and the depth with the raised walls of the bed would definitely make it warm in the middle. The only missing thing would be 2 king sized pillows and a giant fan. Also unfortunately missing is a giant anthro dog XD
