Based loosely on Dromaeosaurus and the American Cheetah (or any long legged prehistoric cat, really). The name means (speculatively) running hook-nose.
This guy comes in way more colors than this, but the tablet I'm using hates my computer (I'm sure the feeling is mutual) so I was lucky to get THIS done XD
The idea spawned from multiple places:
A. Dinosaurs like raptors evolved into birds.
B. Gryphons are, by loosest definition, bird meets cat
C. Raptors with feathers are adorable.
So, since I had the little prehistoric gryphon concepts going, this sprouted. There is a smaller counterpart to him (based on the general Microraptor) which i hope to finish up soon.
I would totally imaginarily ride one if I hadn't decided that they're about the size of a great dane.
