Well there is one more thing but that is very special so it get a special day later.
4th of February the Balto movie was released on VHS in Sweden. I saw the trailer for the movie on the VHS of Land Before Time 4 and I knew I had to see it. I thought this was something like Jack London’s Call of the Wild or White Fang. I had never heard the story of the Serum Run before so I had no clue. I thought it would be a kid friendlier version of the Jack London books and they call him Balto instead of Buck. I had seen many adaptations of both books that did not follow the books very close and I was obsessed with sled dogs, wolves, Northern Lights and Alaska in general. I saved my money and did everything I could to have the money when it when it finally came out. Right after school I went to our local movie/candy shop and bought it and the rest is history. It still sits on my movie shelf (the VHS in the left corner) and always will.
As a tribute to my favorite movie of the event I will upload (as far as it is possible) something Balto-related each day of 2025. Here the gallery starts so you can see them all: https://www.deviantart.com/emberwol.....years-of-balto
“Dedicated to the indomitable spirit of the sled dogs that relayed antitoxin six hundred miles over rough ice, across treacherous waters, through Arctic blizzards from Nenana to the relief of stricken Nome in the winter of 1925.”

Since I have viewed the sounddtrack - CD in the background.
It has been very difficult to get that soundtrack (just as the one of "Land before time", also by James Horner to get on CD here in Germany. It wasn't available and only many many years later I was able to buy these CDs.
Since vinyl records do have their comeback, I hope the score to be published on vinyl... that would be a dream...
