I agree. I got the Bamboo Pen for myself about two years ago. I love it! It's a very practical tablet for someone who isn't looking to spend a lot for something fancy, like a Cintiq. I believe I paid $70 at Office Max. It also came with Corel Painter 7, which was fun to fool around with when first getting used to the tablet itself. But I use SAI exclusively now for all of my digital art.

Oh yeah, and I'd also recommend getting a screen protector of some sort for the tablet (since mine is veeery scratchy after two years!) and also something called a smudge guard. It helps a lot with getting really nice inking strokes, at least for me. My hands tend to get sweaty lol, so they stick to the tablet a bit but the smudge guard really helps me out. Also works great for traditional work!
