Hello you lovely peeps! I wanted to share a bit of my clouded leopard sculpture. I do love to put emphasis on how some species of animals are endangered in my work. Showing the beauty of the animal as well as the plight they face in the world.

This guy is a rather larger sculpture and, it was one of my first sculpts I made in 2020! I got back into sculpting hard in 2020 when the pandemic hit, and this was an idea that hit me that just had to be done. Its a clouded leopard, seriously endangered being overtaken by the jungle. So, the first half of the sculpt is the realistic cat, and it fades into "stone and moss" as its lost to the ages if something isnt done to help them.

I was super proud of this sculpt when it was completed, but ive improved so much since this, and I kept this as a reminder of how much I can and will improve in my art journey. :)
