Splashing from the hotel pool drew Seiliana outside, one night, led her to a familiar face from the days they served under Mitei. Figures that Narud would want a quick swim during the night; she was often busy with managing her country during the day, likely needed this bout of relief. Seeing the Vixe wander nearby, Narud splashed over to the edge of the pool.
"Fancy a dip, hun?" Narud asked.
"Hard pass," Seiliana said.
"Suit yourself~ Though someone like you could use the chance to unwind. You're pushing yourself to the limit, a limit you could easily have overcome if you used your Power."
"And we've been over this, already, I'm not going to use it anymore."
"Honey, what good is Godly Power if it never gets used?"
"For emergencies. If I've learned anything in my time way from Mitei it's that power is meant to be used sparingly, and only to a reasonable extent. Use it too much, and you grow dependent on it for everything."
"But if you use it too little, you'll lose it forever. Mitei gave us this for a reason, to protect what we hold dear to us. If you keep that Gift locked away like this, then aren't you defiling their Memory?"
"..." Seiliana looked away, refused to admit it was a valid point... but in the end had to relent. Even she had to use that power at one point, because the circumstances demanded it. It was because... there was no other option.
