The thing is I played ARK survival. Went to repair my dinosaur trap at night. I was riding on my Argentavis (giant bird). Suddenly a weird big tiger with rat teeth attack my bird but it fell into my trap. Blood came out of my bird like fountain. Its species is thylacoleo and I found out later that it’s not a tiger but in reality it’s an extinct dog-size marsupial that resemble a wild cat. Anyway, in ARK it’s bigger than sabertooth. Then as it’s already in my trap, I thought I might be able to make it unconscious and try to tame it. So I shot it by a dart.

But, mu stupid fault was I forgot to turn off my bird “attack my target” mode. So the bird got rabid attacking at the marsupial. Since the marsupial hit was really hard, I didn’t want my bird died so I kept shooting it, but I also sillily fell into my trap. Then, all I see is my gun and blood, blood, blood, then the bird kill it. Turn out my bird didn’t lost his blood as crisis as I thought, and I was survive, and the Thylacoleo didn’t drop any bit of pelt.

It’s sad that I can’t get the marsupial into my team, but it’s also nice to know that only me and one bird can beat it, so that I don’t need to fear it if I meet it again while I bring my dino herd to hunt things.

Anyway, since I like how it looks, I took it to design a creature, mix it with my giant bird. I think he looks lovely with feather on the head but maybe more deadly. I’ll develop the design next time and make him an OC! 🤣
