It's not a setting or universe the artist was familiar with, but with some reference footage from games they were able to make this huge, extremely detailed piece. The full size actually got printed to canvas and now decorates my living room wall - the original goal of this amazing art. :3

Hmm. I might just. And I do like the MWO/MW5 style. Hell, even the official CGL models are starting to drift more in that stylistic direction. And if you know the history of all the ridiculous lawsuits that has plagued the Battletech franchise you might see why. |3
