After her child was taken away by the Royal Guard, Mary couldn't stand the lost of her child.

She went down into a deep depression. She couldn't eat. She couldn't sleep until she was at the blink of death.
A small wolf boy she found on the street near her passed-lover's town, he reminds her of her child.

She bought a piece of meat and was going to give it to him, but she was met with a surprise. It turns out the boy has other friends, they all got no place to go or parents to hug.
They are just a small gang of thief. Seeing those children, it makes her heart drop as this town of the hunters was supposed to be full of meat, enough for everyone to sustain.
