Alone and Afraid, Generation Zero fanart 1/2
Next on the list of games I was gifted is Generation Zero.
Now while I couldn't quite appreciate the direction the developers have taken before they closed development, it was still fairly fun and really sold me on the feelings of panic and fear while being hunted by swedish death-machines.
This piece was me trying to capture that feeling, albeit a bit more humorously. I couldn't play it for very long before I needed a break from the tension it would induce in my back from being on edge so many times, but I loved the aesthetic so much that I would eventually keep going back to it just to see new machines and where the story would go.
GEN-0 was also what introduced me to Simon Stålenhag's, who's work is just so spine tingling. Look up 'The Electric State' and 'Tales from the Loop' and you'll see what I mean. More on that in part two of this game's fanart.
