Laying on the couch, resting on the arm, Mira tried to rest from all the portals she made. After a time more, Artison came back in and set in the chair across from her. Tail swaying as he walked over.
"Well, message reached her, she'll be done her own things." Artison said, "How is your head feeling?"
"It feels like a bit dizzy, but I should be fine with some rest." Mira said, "That was pretty interesting, knowing I could go that far, and now my limits."
"Would you... test with it more?" Artison asked, "I'm not saying now, no, you need rest. But I was wondering now how long you could hold a portal open for."
That got a bit of a giggle out of Mira as she looked up to him, "Maybe it could help move supply for the orphanage." Mira said, "I want to help you with that."
"That could wait a while," Artison smiled, "You'll have time to recover, maybe even practice." He scratches the back of his head for a moment as his ears lower, "That's just how ruling in this kingdom works, I don't know as much for the rest of Terra." He chuckled, nervously, "In any case, did you want to tell me something earlier today?"
Mira looked to him a little puzzled? "Tell you what?"
"I'm not sure, but before the portal jumping back to here, and the time out in the wilderness..." Artison said, "...actually even before I showed the new blueprints. You wanted to tell me something. What was it?"
Mira took a moment more, then her eyes went wide, "OH!"
"Yes, so..." Artison leaned forward, smiling with tail wagging, "What was it you wanted to tell me?
Mira nearly opened her mouth, but her throat locked up looking to him. There was just something, Artison was happy, and determined to make people's world so bright. But, that look on his face, seeing a part of his past in such shambles...
"If he learns this, how well do you think he would react to it?"
...The words from Loretta run through Mira's head, it echoed as she struggled to string the very letters and speak to Artison before her.
"Well, What is it?" Artison asked again, tail wagging and eagerly awaiting.
Mira opened her mouth again, but it was a struggle to get anything out, "I... I-" She interrupted with a yawn, and then a smile fell over her, "Sorry Artison, I think I may be too tired to really explain it."
Artison patted her head and tussled her hair, "Just rest, Mira. We can talk about this any other time." Then he got up and walked away. Mira watched him leave with a smile on her face. She saw what Loretta was talking about, and also wanted him to keep going in his good deeds. She stood by her word, wanting him to know the truth, and she would tell him. Just at a later time... A later day... Some day...
