An alternate setting of Jon Talbain, still kept the martial arts but living in a snow covered village with others. Now I say tribal but honestly they are civilized as one else is it's just the look of the place has it going for them.
In this case Jon had run into some raiders looking to attack the village but seems he and them were able to come to an agreement.
They become chub on his waist and they don't attack the village so...win.
