The super-cool  lechevalier commissioned this one from me a few days ago, and I have to admit that I was excited about working with a pirate theme.

Jaqard is somewhere in between your typical 'good guy' and 'bad guy' pirates. That sort of moral ambiguity immediately appealed to me, but then again isn't that what we all like about pirates in the first place? Well, that and the shameless over-consumption of alcohol. And the bitchin' haberdashery.

I got a bit jocular when it came to the facial expressions, partly because all the representations of his character thus far have been pretty serious and partly because I couldn't help myself. I'm gonna try this guy in a goatee pretty soon-- a real one, not a Jack Sparrow cosplay.
