Anyways, the house held up pretty sturdily for the first day, but remember that one window that they so blissfully neglected to fortify? Well surprise surprise, it breaks, and the 2 are awoken to a ton of flood water rushing into their house at 1AM. After a very futile effort to get it out (there was a ton of buildup outside) the 2 give up their efforts and adapt to their conditions, both falling asleep next to each other with a battery powered light (somehow floating despite definitely having a density over 1) and continuing to ride out the storm. (Which seems pretty fucking stupid given their current situation like shouldn’t one of them be lookout or something)
