Beritha and Kat were on a mission. The ancient library, filled with towering shelves and endless corridors of forgotten knowledge, held the answers they sought—if only they could find the right book.
Beritha, the ever-composed naga scholar, slithered effortlessly through the maze of bookshelves, her golden scales shimmering in the warm glow of candlelight. She adjusted her glasses, scanning the spines of the dusty tomes, her keen mind piecing together fragments of forgotten lore.
Kat, on the other hand, had a more… unconventional approach. Defying gravity as always, she floated upside down, flipping through multiple books at once, her violet fingers dancing over the worn pages. Her mischievous grin widened as she found something interesting.
“Beritha! I think I’ve got it!” she called out, twirling midair with excitement.
Beritha sighed, amused but unsurprised. “Are you sure this time?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Of course!” Kat declared confidently—just as the book in her hand snapped shut, releasing a flurry of enchanted letters that swirled around them.
Another night, another mystery in the library. Would they ever find what they were looking for?
