This is the character who tells his grandson about his past in the poem https://www.furaffinity.net/view/59670791/ I posted here today. It is fitting I am posting this on January 27th.
Compared to the family seen in https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58295642/ he is father of the bat on the far right and grandfather to the two pups in the middle. I tried to think what would make a fruit bat look elderly, so I made his patagium more saggy and added discolored spots. I did take a look at a video of an actual old fruit bat from a bat sanctuary somewhere for reference.
