A great transformation artwork of my raccoon avatar into a My Little Pony character commissioned from the illustrious
redadillio. Check out the cutie mark! I guess this officially makes me a bronie now.

I am still where you were not that long ago on all of this hullabaloo ... wondering what the heck all the fuss about the My Little Ponies is all about ... although you said you were going to "bring me up to speed" on this phenomenon, so I guess over time maybe I will understand it.
I did look up bronie to find out what you were referring to, so now I know one more thing about it. Perhaps the rest will just be a matter of "tincture of time" until I understand why every one is so fussed about a bunch of cartoon ponies and then again, maybe it will just never make sense to me.
Until then, my only comment is the one I already gave you when you first showed me the drawing - apart from all the MLP furor, the coon/pony combination is a clever concept.

I'm still wondering why all the hype myself. I'll admit, it's a fun show, and definitely better than a lot of the cartoons making their way to TV today (especially those showing up on Cartoon Network...CN's programming director must be a twit.) But why all the overblown interest, I just don't know.
That doesn't apply to just pony art. I've seen people spend a lot more on commissions than $50, only to have the piece stashed in some closet corner later. Besides, I got a good deal on mine, and I've had it more than a few months. I look at it as a way of supporting one of your favorite artists while still getting something personal that's a lot better than a receipt.
