My entry for the Rift Colossus Contest.
My take on a Life Colossus.
Something bigger than a hill. It's legs are like trees, designed to hold up its great girth. It mouth is like a venus fly trap, as most things are smaller than it, it has no need to chew but to swallow thing whole and absorb them dry. Its mane is made of vines and follows the ridge of the back to form a tail with a barbed like ending, which if the impalement didn't kill, the poison would.
