This dragon is named Nixi, and she is from a story series of mine called Dragon Ranch.

Nixi is an energetic, persistent, and playful aquatic species of dragon called a Yellowtail Garl. Me and Narse are doing some collaborative trades and he is working on bringing some of the characters from my series to life. This is just a concept and a sketch... the final drawing (which will be posed) will be much more detailed. As for what pose she'll be in.... well, if you know Narse's art you can probably figure it out, lol.
Why is Narse drawing me some dragons? Because Dragon Ranch is a friggen awesome story series, that's why! D:< Narse loves my stories and really enjoyed reading them, and he expressed interest in drawing some of the characters. In return, he'll be getting his own tailor-made story... maybe stories. :P. Hmm.... well, I think the tail might be a tad thick for an aquatic species, but its not something that's bad enough to change. I like it regardless. And thick tails aren't uncommon. Crocodilians have thick tails and necks, after all. Monitor lizards too, and they all swim. I guess it comes down to personal preference, right?
Personally, I like the idea of something large to hold on to and hoist over your shoulder when, err.... I think you get the picture. :P

Interesting... She does look a bit more well-rounded with that tail! Well, I am adamant about the length because her species is described as having a longer than average tail, but I may talk to Narse really quick about the more slenderized tail you made, if I have time to bring it up.
