*Clap!* ROFL! Might I say that spray paint may do a better job than a paint brush and... Oil based paint?... Not looking too bad though.

it's actually a semi-gloss latex, it's all i had atm but if it doesn't work out i'll spray it lol or just get an enamel spray to protect it

Actually latex paint is a great idea on that. Latex paint tends to be flexible so the movement of the basket SHOULDN'T destroy it.

true it just scratches off easily but it's not hard to touch up when needed
