Hawksting has always been a respected warrior in ToxicClan. When Rootstar was seeking a deputy, he worked hard to reach his leader's standards, but he was not the choice. Instead, Boartusk got the role. For a long while tension hung between the two, but when Boartusk became Boarstar, Hawksting was surprised when he was chosen as his deputy. Hawksting stepped up to the position, eagerly working alongside Boarstar... regardless of what the leader may ask. Only when too much blood began to spill his paws did he step down from leadership, his bloodthirsty littermate Houndclaw happily taking up the position. When Stormlight started her rebellion, Hawksting joined, having to kill his own littermate in the process. Hawksting now lives out the few remaining moons of his days trying to relax, but it's hard to silence his mind after all that he's seen. Hawksting's gift (aka magic) is a kinetic build-up until he uses it sort of like a 'buff' to his strength, speed, perception, etc.
