Great Duke Hamdann has perished, and he has left behind his beloved, best son/heir, his finest warlock he nurtured as his own daughter, and the Lovely Marchioness Gwendolyn who had to flee for her families sake.
His heart is broken, and now its sky has fallen to his world without song. So during his grieving period he has a much more understated outfit, with cloak and hat that are symbolic.
I put whats under the cloak to the side so people can see it, but hes usually wearing his full kit now which involves keeping the cloak on. He doesn't use his human look now, hes too tired to put on his human face to put people at ease.
