Time is of the essence as a band of space pirates has caught wind of the finding, turning it into a race against fate.
Unlike the previous webcomic, Diplomatic Immunity, this one is almost completely written by myself with Newie serving as an editor. He was on board with co-writing a handful of pages, which I will always give credit to him for when they come up.

True for the telling... and Cerin would probably agree with you, he knows he is a jerk.
That said, in this situation I think he has a fair call here. Patients who refuse to follow their quack's advice lose all whinging rights when the procedure fails due to their actions... and I can say that as someone who has overdone it post repair work and been given the "Well, don't blame me for this now!" talk by my quack.
