And also Francis's older brother Drakoid, the very man for whom the metamorph abilities were more like a gift. They really gave him a lot, but he was doomed to lose his mind and die, being unable to draw the line between his human and feral selves.
I rarely use feral forms to depict my metamorph characters. And when I do, it's to some extent a way to show something huge and terrible that can devour without a trace.
Although in this case, both brothers look more heraldic.
