Something I plan on doing during any periods of artblock or simply to get ideas is redoing some older art. This was one I kept coming back to in regard to that. I’ve found that looking back at old work and remaking it really helps with my motivation, especially when I can visually see the improvement. And seeing so many errors and just things I disliked about the original piece in general, I had to redraw it. I ended up ultimately making it look a lot more like the Demon Days cover from Gorillaz, which was my source of inspiration originally. The old one felt way too cluttered and didn’t give off the vibe I truly wanted, so I’m very happy I changed it and got the desired end result ^^

The 2022 version
