TRANSCRIPT

I decided to start with the snake-oil salesman, since it's already part-ways near some highwaymen. I can approach this area from the opposite direction of the roads, so if I play my cards right, I can catch them off-guard and pounce.

He was last seen somewhere in the north-west in the direction of the Garrett Outpost, but the Baliff doubted that's where he would be since it's under Nest control and nobody has claimed him yet.

So that's where I start. A man on his own in this place can't wander too far from settlements without their own means of sustenance, otherwise it's a death wish. My guess is he's a few days at most from the Nest, but needs to be hiding someplace difficult to spot. Towards the Valleys would be where I'd go. So I'm heading there.

So some description on the guy. Late 40s, male, feline with a notched left ear. Known to wear formal clothing and a distinct golden ring. Name is Oscar Travis. According to Baliff, he is a fighter and isn't expected to come back alive, hence my intent to pivot to the highwaymen after. But we will see if he comes quietly.

Some more background on this guy. He is a known swindler, and manipulator with charming looks and a silver tongue. Lots of people in the past have fallen for his fake miracle cures, among other scams that target the desperate and vulnerable. Real piece of shit.

Oscar Travis. The bounty poster was quite generous on the depiction, but I doubt he will look this proper being on the run in the desert.
