I got used to her darkened hair look too until you mentioned that she was a brunette so I thought that the earlier pic was the correct look.

Least he didn't pull what one person did with me on their lioness. They assured me, twice, brunette, then after the art was done, decided it should be light blonde. I pointed out I can't redo the hair from dark to light. They demanded I fix it to blonde. I explained that would have been if digitally colored, but marker on paper, nope. They were not happy, insisted I redraw it. But I pointed out that's another fresh drawing then. Big nope, canceled the deal. But insisted THEY get the art with the wrong hair color for free since it was THEIR character. Another big nope. Refused to even partly pay.

Least you had an easy fix.

Some people are real tools. My guy is way cool.

It's like when I did free Christmas sketches. Just a simple sketch unless they boosted it by getting something off my Amazon wishlist or paid a bit extra. I had one yute want a 7 page story of their characters in a short story they wrote, in full color. And when I explained it was for a simple sketch for free, not a 7 page full color unless they commissioned me for it. They got upset saying I offered free art, drawn their request. Even others pointed out nowhere does it say everything was free, but a simple sketch. Needless to say, they stormed off insulting me and unwatching me. Yeah, the nerve of some people's kids.

I've even boosted a few drawings for some folks cause it screamed at me to fully render the piece. Those folks are always happy, and better yet, repeat customers.
