Never have drawn a poster before, can't say its a great 100% awesome drawing! This is for the alt canon I mentioned in The early draft of an alternate canon, known as the Portal canon. Can't speak for every government, but I have a feeling that most, particularly the US of A, would not like people who likely owe debts to disappear through a portal forever.
Honestly I say run head long into those portals, easiest way to nullify your loans and debts! But i imagine most governments who require folks to keep the state economy up wouldn't be happy about it.

Wait, that's a seriously a common problem? People timeline jumping to become drekir? I mean, I guess there's a few upsides, like consequence free sex, no taxes, fellowship with your fellow reptilians, no taxes, a stronger and more robust body, a chance to start over and explore an alien world, no taxes...

I don't have any debt and I'd still take the risk given the chance. This country (I live in the US) sucks now more than ever.
Dumbasses at fast food jobs can't understand that raising minimum wadge will make the cost of everything go up, so they demand more money for doing nothing. Gang violence (at least here in California) is at an all time high and getting worse. Products are getting to be such poor quality that we're approaching China levels of cheaply made while jacking up the prices so companies can still make a profit.
To say this country is slowing going to hell is an understatement. The way things are, its only a matter of time before The Division (minus the Green Poison Virus) comes true.

DoingNOTHING!? At a fast food job, you deal with crazy customers that routinely act like the worst kind of entitled, Ugly Americans, all while expecting you to act like a machine incapable of being slow or delayed by anything, even if your fast food job has half staff or incompetent workers making more dedicated staff members pick up the slack or both!
The fact that you even said that shows everyone here you've never worked in fast food. Hell, I doubt you've even worked in grocery and retail (that's where I worked, and that one only becomes as busy and grueling as fast food on weekends and near/on holidays).

Fare enough on that front. That being said, its not the case in my town.
We have seventeen different fast food places and half are rarely ever busy. How can you screw up a simple cheeseburger with no mods 90% of the time when A: You don't have to rush to keep up with orders, and B: you have 10-15 customers at max a day every day? Add to the fact you (the customer) either deal with this screw up 2-5 times every order and/or get incorrect change and they refuse to correct it, how can you say these people are justified in demanding more money for doing their job this badly?

Assuming if people could just leave if they feel the social contract is not upholded, in a way in which no government could feasibly drag them back. Yeah it likely would not have gone well
The idea of the alternate canon is partially what may happen politically and economically if people could just leave that society irreversibly if they feel like it. I don't think any nation states leaders would take it well nor be very successful in trying to stop people
