He's likely used to that "I take you apart first" line working. Honestly took that fact that it didn't work on Felix pretty well. And, well, I'm with the Doc there; assuming his AI is the same level of effective sentience (sapience?) as a person, being asked to be essentially vivisected is a bit of a rude question when you stop to think about it.
