A wonderful christmas discounted commission by the talented Rex Equinox! And this is about a saga me and pixelpallet6 made together of many mlp characters turning into vehicles! And here. we have the ever awesome Captain Celaeno turning into a mighty rounded blimp! With Gilda the boeing 747 making a cameo!
I would love to also credit HudsonSpaceCraft for helping me write the story and help me improve my grammar! Just he's a great guy to have help with this as well! As she got up to cruising altitude fully. She began to sing a little tune on what her duties were today, being airborne and awesome! This was reminiscent of a certain song she had sung upon meeting a group of ponies in her past self. But now that was nothing as she had some passengers and cargo to give tours around the world, teach some about the history of her non-dirigible and dirigible ancestors and kind and entertain people as well through her avatar on the screens which were interior only. She also had some digital avatar on there, though that would of course be slightly different but reminiscent of her old form as well.
While there were plans for her to be able to speak verbally, she preferred for now to just speak silently out of her LED screen, she kinda liked it. And through her avatar she only spoke in blips and beeps with a speech bubble to boot. Just leaving passengers and crew to imagine what she could sound like much to the blimp's amusement.
Her relations with the Pilots and crew were quite cordial and friendly to boot as well. They did like her energetic and adventurous personality, along with her dedication to the job and also her entertaining qualities of being a tour guide. And her talking about the many stories about things like mythical sea creatures, avian humanoids and many other pirate folklore...Some were considering she could be transferred into a ship temporarily someday. After all she liked to tease and chat with a Cruise ship named Novo from time to time.
But for now, she was on autopilot. She was alive, she was a person to her many human friends and co-workers and now it was time to be airborne and awesome! away she go! Independently not needing any crew right now to go on a sweet cruise to the other airfield to meet more of her friends along the way!

Heck yeah! we need more Blimps and Airships in the TF space! And Hot air balloons too!
Wonder how a blimp Dire would look like. but yeah, we need more living blimps in general, both more inanimate and fully animate
Imagine like a living vehicle animacy shift, like a pixar esque vehicle becoming more inanimate to this level of animacy or a more inanimate one becoming more animate and pixar-ish?

Spaceship transformation is quite rare.
There is only few I can think of, and good chunk are just one tf in a bunch instead of being the focal point.
Thinking of it, maybe as being futuristic high tech stuff spaceship are offten depicted with advanced AI so there is less room for creativity.
...wich made me remember, mentionning again futurama.
There has been an episode where their spaceship become more self-governing. Not a transformation of any kind per say, they were editing the voice system, and Blender, being a robot, toyed with it to be more flirting, and somehow it kinda went gradualy from being a dumb utilitarian AI to ....dating Blender. And started doing more anthropomorphic things such as going to the zoo with Blender, knocking at Fr'ys appartement in the middle of the night to aks if Blender was here, getting jealous.... going full HAL9000 because of passions.
