It's been quite some time since the last time I had my hands at pixels. I wanted to do something with the limited SNES palette and took main inspiration from MMX1. Not only that but in my wandering mind I came up with a whole explanation as to how would Donya, in this instance "Crimson Wolf" fit as a minor role.
