You're the third person to say that! That is the origin of this character. I've never read those books but it really seems I ought too, EVERYBODY knows about these horses apparently. :)

Well...they're good books...XD And I wish everyone knew about them! I want to find more fans myself.

You should go look at the book covers sometime to see what a good job you did. XD It really looks like a Companion...just search them on Amazon or something...XD If you haven't already, that is.

Thank you, I really don't use gradient that much though, I mostly use the airbrush.

*nodnods* Bad word ususage on my part...I ment the subtle shift in colors, tones, highlights and shadows in your artwork; not the specific tool "gradient", but your ability to make everything transition from one to the next. ^_^

i don't mean to be a party-pooper, but i have to say the saddle is a little too far back and the girth is way back, she wouldn't be able to breath!
other than that, it really is a great picture.

Y'know, of all of the covers for the series and all of the images of Companions on said covers, I think you've captured the feel and look of Companions better than 'most all of them!
