There are a lot of people who take an interest in the Red Queen for one reason or another. Some try to depose her to take her throne. Others try to curry favor by toadying up to her. Still others are drawn to her exotic, sensual beauty.
Whatever Kolossus wanted, we'll never know, because the Red Queen found him to be immediately unimpressive, not even worth being bothered to hear out. He'll make a fine pet, though she may need to whip him into shape first.
