Rivet was invited to help out at another planet’s brand new candy factory. It used to be a robot minion factory during the former emperor’s reign, but now that the egomaniac is gone for good, production of anymore annoying nefarious troops ceased and this factory and others like it were shut down or repurposed into different factories for production of ships for all, clothing, electronics, food and more.

With the opening of this new candy factory, the staff had produced the first few products that were a hit but they needed to do a lot of research for the rest of their recipes. That’s where Rivet comes in. She was one of the many taste testers brought in to taste test the company’s sweets and give feedback on what needs to be improved. The first few sweets weren’t bad, but then came an ordinary chocolate bar. Research says it had an experimental additive called Gloopicule.

Rivet takes a bite of the bar and it was just that, it tasted like ordinary milk chocolate. But as she pondered on how to improve the recipe, she began to change. Her body grew larger, her clothes changed, her mental state changed, even her voice gained an accent. The cyber-armed lombax had now become a plump, cheery version of herself and a big appetite to boot.
The scientists knew that this wasn’t the first time someone had been changed from gloopicule, but luckily the side effects wore off over a period of a few days. As they took notes, maybe they should consider adding gloopicule to the recipe. For now, Rivet’s craving some more chocolate.
