Quinn's backstory is so incredibly sad.
I happened to find some super old writing notes back when I thought I would write out Quinn's story as a whole thing. When Quinn first sees her new house provided by witness protection, she can't look at the master bedroom's wallpaper. It's got a southern magnolia pattern. She spends weeks not looking at it. She just can't.
Not after what she's lost.

Right before! Like, maybe even the day before. After she survives Mad Ivan's attack and when the relocation settles, Quinn has to undergo a probation period so she gets accustomed to her new identity. So she has yet to officially show herself as a director and get started on meeting her more integral staff. At this point Quinn is assisting her handler on ground operations and allowing herself to physically act out some of the anguish she's been going through for two months.
She's more or less physically recovered from the medical traumas at this point. Now comes the pain of surviving.
