TRANSCRIPT
I don't know what happened, but when I was walking along the road, there was a sudden loud explosion in the distance that felt like it shook the whole valley. Echos coming from all directions, no way to tell where it came from.
Scared me half to death, so I've been sticking to the high roads for travel, much slower but also safer.
I never saw any smoke, or flash of light, so I haven't the slightest clue what caused that massive boom. If somehow this was from some ambush on other poor souls, then I might be in more trouble than I thought.
