Trying to solidify her proportions. She's supposed to be in a middle ground between anthro and feral.
She's wearing a scientist's coat and a black undergarment. Before contact, her species didn't wear clothes, but galactic regulations mean they have to cover up.
In contrast to how I initially imagined her, I like to think of her as very online and awkward, probably posting to anonymous imageboards by night. The alien equivalent of PhD work wears down the spirit.

Thank you! Depends on what kind of species they are, but I can give you some pointers based off mine.
- Think about how developed their society is, and figure out how they can get there with their specific characteristics (dexterity, body shape, natural resources, etc). You can justify anything, just figure out how detailed you want the worldbuilding to be.
- See how other artists have approached both feral and anthro analogs of the animals most similar to your species. And definitely look at images of the animal itself– lots of cool information tends to get lost in a lot of furry art. From there you could work out what intermediate stage you want
Hope this helps, but if you have other questions feel free to let me know!
