You know Life as a small opossum in Russia has been a bit of a rollercoaster lately. With so many payment systems blocked, it’s become really hard to take commissions or do freelance work. On top of that, being a transgender guy adds its own set of challenges. My documents don’t match who I am, and let’s just say that employers here don’t handle that too well. The rejection hurts, but I keep pushing forward.
Right now, drawing is my only way to survive. But being a student about to finish college means my free time is pretty limited. Juggling school, life, and art is tough, but I try to keep my tail up and stay positive—I know things will get better someday.
Even with all these challenges, I have a dream that keeps me going: I want to save enough money to leave Russia and move to Slovenia. It’s a place where I know I can feel safer, more accepted, and have greater opportunities to live and grow as an artist. I want to study, build a better future for myself, and keep creating art that brings joy to others.
I’ve always been shy about opening donations. I felt like I didn’t have enough to give in return, and that made me hesitate for the longest time. But I realized I can’t do this alone, and maybe it’s okay to ask for a little help. So, I finally made a Buy Me a Coffee page!
